With calligraphy, using an ink brush, the arm is air-bone, you really can't rest it against the table, which leads to shaky hand syndrome.
Which is why in China they say practicing calligraphy is a workout (you also have to steady your breath - you can't be huffing and puffing) and good for your health.
Drawing is good for your health. Perhaps I should restart calligraphy.
The longest I'd ever gone was 3 hours but right now I doubt if I could even do 5 minutes.
